What is semi-private personal training?

PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS FOR YOU WITH A FRIEND OR TWO 

If you are interested in personal training but would like to do it WITH your partner, friends, or another gym-goer, this training option is for you. You’ll share the focused attention of your coach while getting the benefit of training with a friend! Our educated and experienced staff will be able to design and build out continuous programming that you can do together but also meets your individual needs.

If you’re looking for a body transformation, you will need a package with nutrition. Our Semi-Private training is training only. If you are looking for nutritional guidance to lose or gain weight, be sure to check out our other packages that include nutrition.

Training Introduction

Whether you're new to fitness, just getting back to it, or have never experienced training with us, our training introduction gives you and your partner an hour with your coach to assess where you currently are and where you want to go. This helps our trainers build an appropriate and effective strategy for your time with us.

Programming

After reviewing your goals and developing a strategy with you, your coach will write you a program for each of you individually or together. The number of days you will train, the number of sets, the number of reps, along with proper weight selections will be included. You'll receive a copy of your program along with the ability to edit and log your weights. This will help ensure you are getting better over time and your coach can adjust accordingly.

Training Sessions

Semi-Private training sessions can be done in 30 minute or 60 minutes repeating once or twice per week. You'll share the time of your coach during the session but still receive individual attention. Your coach will be there to ensure proper form and execution to help continuously progress you towards your goals.

While I have been at Next for a really long time, I was never really interested in personal training, but a a few years ago I decided to give it a try. To make it more cost effective, I split my training sessions with another person. Several years later, we are still really enjoying our experience with it. Our trainer, Leeann initially set up a program for us based on our goals and has continued to adjust the program over time as we meet our goals and as those goals change. She is very positive and motivating but also challenges to push ourselves. I love that she is very realistic about what can be acheieved different amounts of time. Since she has alot of personal experience she can truly appreciate the effort involved in our transformation.
